September 2025 Edition:
Food Insecurity Fundraiser x Ikigai
September 26th | 7:30 PM
Kaiseki for a Cause
This month’s Family Meal is our largest to date—helping to feed thousands of New Yorkers in need. That’s because in honor of September’s Hunger Action Month, we are teaming up with Brooklyn’s Ikigai restaurant for a special Kaiseki dinner where all proceeds go to Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, a non-profit fighting food insecurity.
*Note: While all Family Meal Club events remain free, we are suggesting a $75 donation per person, which will be matched in kind by the Family Meal Club (Ikigai already donates all proceeds, which is freakin’ awesome!).
Small Bites, Big Flavor, Huge Impact
Fighting hunger in NYC is a collaborative process achieved with small actions, one at a time. Could a traditional Kaiseki meal fusing a traditional Japanese multi-course menu with the Polish influences of Chef Rafal Maslankiewicz (Masa & Eleven Madison Park) be more emblematic of the cause?
We think not.
Think truffle-laced chawanmushi, uni-topped quail-egg 'hole-in-one' bites, and mochi-kissed knedle dumplings—delivered with culinary purpose that not only feeds our guests, but helps nourish NYC.

RSVP
We’re thrilled that you’re joining the Family Meal Supper Club. Please RSVP with your guest count by September 15th.
